    Xbox app messages not working on iPad and iPhone


    I was hoping someone could help me with an issue I’m having. All of a sudden, i am not able to use the messaging feature with the xbox app on my ipad and iphone. When i try, i get the error message “Live
    updates not available, pull down to refresh” along with a Loading icon that never stops.

    All other features of the app work fine and the messaging used to work, but this just suddenly started happening. Ive tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but the problem persists. The messaging works fine using the xbox app on my windows laptop
    and xbox itself, its just with the iPad and iPhone i have this issue. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    This worked, thank you! On my xbox, i went thru and deleted a lot of old messages and then on my iPad i cleared the cache and now i can see the new messages and reply to them. You are awesome, thanks for your help!

    Dumbest answer ever, sorry Amber. Going to Apple for fix Microsoft's application won't fix anything.

    Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue concerning the Xbox app messages not working on your iOS devices. If you haven't already done so, you may wish to see if there are any updates necessary to your Apple device as sometimes this may
    cause issues with the Xbox app. I would further recommend
    contacting Apple Support     should you require help in updating or if the app continues to not interface well with your iOS devices to see if they have an alternative solution.

    Give this a try and let us know the results.
