xbox app messages disappear after i open them

We know how important it is for you to read the preview of the messages on the app. Let us check on this together and sort this out in timely manner.

To better isolate your issue, we would like to ask for few questions:

1. May we confirm if you are using the Xbox app on Windows or Xbox app on mobile (Android or iOS)?
   
2. May we know how old are those messages? 3-5 years ago or more?
   
3. Have you tried signing out of your account, close Xbox app, launch it back and re-sign in to your account?
   
4. Is there a message or info when you open your old messages from Xbox 360?
   
5. Have you reported this to Team Xbox?
   
   • On Xbox app for Windows:
     
     • Navigate to the top right of the application and select your gamerpic icon
       
     • Select “Feedback” in the drop-down menu
       
     • Select “Report a problem”
       
     • Click Give new feedback
       
     • Add [Xbox Forum] in “Summarize your feedback” followed by a feedback summary
       
       • Summary should be descriptive and fully detailing the error you are receiving. Links redirecting to this forum post will not be accepted and will cause a delay in your feedback submission.
         
     • Category should automatically be selected.
       
     • In the "add more details" category, you will have the option to "Recreate my problem". Recreating the problem will help us further pinpoint the error you are receiving.
       
     • Once complete, post the title of the bug report along with the submission date in this thread
       
   • On Xbox app for mobile (iOS and Android):
     
     • Launch Xbox app.
       
     • Go to Settings and scroll down until you reach Support & Feedback.
       
     • Look for Give Feedback.
       
     • Select the option available and provide feedback then submit.

after it install, I press the lets go button, sometimes a black xbox screen open up and then it disappeared along with the install app., most of the time the install window disappear. after the install I tried to open the app but it doesn't even load up with a screen

It's did the same thing to me too, I tried to delete them through the Xbox, then I tried to do it on the Xbox app on my phone. After a while the messages I wanted to delete finally disappeared for good.

No luck after doing this either. App blinks open, disappears.
