    xbox app launch in background


    All of a sudden my xbox app no longer launches in background on windows boot. Ticking or unticking launch in background has no effect, and reinstalling the app also changes nothing.

    I want the app to launch with a tray icon, and only that. I don't know why it suddenly stopped doing it.

    I can also confirm the "Launch app in the background" is not working, the app does not launch if this option is selected, or at least no Xbox icon is shown in the System Tray.

    If its launching in the background id still expect to see the icon in the system tray.

    I can also confirm this issue exists. The app will launch fine if "Launch app in the background" is unchecked, but will not launch (or at least not show the tray icon) if it is checked.

    This issue is not fixed. "Launch app in the background" is not working, the app is not launched at all and thus is not visible in my system tray after boot.

    I tried launching from outside the Xbox App, and are getting the same failure, even with the app closed and all the background processes cleared out.

    It's not on power saving mode. I allowed the app to running in background and self launching. No use.
