    Xbox App keeps freezing and being non-responsive for many minutes


    This started a couple days ago and I have no idea why because I didn't install or update any driver or Windows itself recently. I can launch the Xbox app and it loads and everything but I can't click on anything like the app is frozen but I can still scroll the main page. Then at some point it will unfreeze and I can click on a game to see the page and install it from there but that only lasts a couple seconds and then the app is frozen again. It doesn't crash or anything like that it's just non-responsive.

    I've tried re-installing Xbox app, Gaming services and any other Xbox related app. Rebooted multiple times between the steps but the app still won't work correctly.

    What else can I do?

    That was it! I forgot I joined the Windows Gaming preview on Xbox Insider a while back.

    1. Uninstalled the Xbox app and all related xbox apps
    2. Left the Windows Gaming preview on Xbox Insider
    3. Reboot
    4. Re-installed Xbox app and now the app is working as intended.

    You just saved me from having to reinstall Windows this weekend, because I was all out of ideas.

    That happens to me all the time. its a mod people use to freeze the session. Its called "wagon dropping" hence the floating wagons. Once the player drops a wagon into the the session that game cannot register it and the session freezes due to the game being
    non responsive.
