Xbox App isn't very PC friendly

I'd like to request that the Xbox app be upgraded since for some odd reason it takes ages for the program to open up and tell me that a friend is either in a party or in game that I can join. It shouldn't take me 3 billion Xbox app reloads to finally show
if my friend is in a lobby I can join on PC. I get that it's not really a big priority to get into fixing PC issues but if Xbox plans to put itself out there in the PC realm by all means make the game browser work.

Xbox One feels like a web app

downloading apps has not been an issue but that's besides the issue. Between having to jump back and forth between apps, telling your xbox to snap and unsnap.. not getting it on the first attempt.. the process is bloated. I forget to completely close out
of apps but the system isn't user friendly where I can remind myself to do so all the time.. it should do it on your own.. we're not talking about a PC or an iPhone here.. the hardware alone should be enough to carry as many apps as it can pickup but it doesnt
feel that way. When have you ever had to hardboot an xbox 360?

 

Windows 10, support and release date

I'm in the technical preview as well. The Xbox app in the current build isn't what will ultimately be released. I believe we'll get more of the promised features in the next update. I'm dying to try this out!

I would recommend removing and reinstalling the app on the PC. I have had a similar issue happen to myself before with the XBox app on the PC and uninstalling / reinstalling did the trick.
