Xbox app game captures not recording properly

Most of my attempted recordings from the Xbox app game DVR are audio recordings and a still image of a random point of the game. Rarely it will record a full video with audio. Does anyone know a fix for this? I noticed I had no problems with this using
Nvidia Geforce Experience but I prefer Xbox App so I am able to share clips through messages.

Nothing on that has fixed it it seems to tare when I spin quick but I haven’t changed anything and it’s started doing it recently
