I just got my Windows Ten Laptop and am trying to update my xbox app so I can join parties in the app from my laptop. however, I have gone into the settings of the app and the settings of the laptop and have not been able to find out how to update the
app.

just use gamebar for parties and chat, dont have to open any apps then.

I'm sorry if I was vague, I meant the Xbox App on Windows 10.

You used to be able to disable the on screen keyboard this way.

Get the Windows 10 App, you can turn it off from there.

It's under "settings" and under the headline "Typing on my Xbox One."

Not sure if this still works.

First check that you have latest version of the Xbox app on Windows 10. And do you use standard Xbox app or Xbox beta? If you are using beta then yes sometimes there may be some problems.
