Xbox App for PC UI issues

Microsoft buries us in Updates. Take a look at how many system Updates Xbox 1 has had at launch, how many updates Microsoft software gets including Windows OS for PC's. A fix/change will likely come out soon rather than later.

I love Windows 10 UI on Xbox 1. I'm sick of that Windows 8 UI. It's the fastest UI ever, which Xbox 1 has ever had. Navigating the dashboard with the controller, the dashboard loads those pages faster while navigating with the controller, than on any previous
UI Microsoft has released for Xbox 1, ever. The Dashboard no longer focuses on 4 by 4 boxes littered on the UI. Windows 10's UI is a lot better faster and user friendly. And for those who say otherwise, I got a new PC 3 weeks ago with Windows 10, and the Windows
10 PC version OS/UI is way more user friendly, the taa daa..... Start Menu. The taa daaa.... customize the start menu including re-sizing apps and choosing which apps you want on it.

The Xbox One app has more issues than the Xbox 360 Hulu app, and the design and UI is also one of them. Another is the random skipping around when streaming.

This is a widespread issue for everyone using the Xbox Accessories App. You can update the Elite controller if you have a physical Xbox console, but the current Xbox Accessories App does not have an option to update an Elite controller. Other Xbox hardware, such as non-elite Xbox controllers or the Xbox Wireless headset do have update UI that works, but the Elite does not show that as an option, possibly because the UI button was replaced with "Rename".

Refreshing, reinstalling, updating the App or Windows will not fix this issue. Microsoft needs to update the Xbox Accessories App with a fix. That's the only way to solve this issue that Microsoft created.

Sorry to hear about your issue with the Xbox Music app. Let's do a proper re-install of the Xbox Music app on your Windows 8 PC.



1) Right-click on the app's tile

2) Select "Uninstall" and confirm

3) From the Metro UI, type"WSReset.exe" and press Enter

4) After confirmation that the store cache has been reset, restart the PC.

5) Re-install the app.



Once you've re-installed the Xbox Music app, try your tunes again. Let us know here what your results are. We'll be here waiting to hear from you.

I have already updated everything including xbox apps, Also i asked one of my friend on windows 10 to see if he's experiencing this issue and he said no. Is there anyway i could get the new ui? because the new one is so much cleaner.

Update:The new ui does appears but only on the minecraft bedrock app when i try to sign in but not on the launcher.
