Xbox App for PC redownloads full game after i try to download an update.

Greetings, im a gamepass for PC user, i download all my games In my D: disc not C: where the OS is. The other day i downloaded Trópico 6 without a problem but today the game needed an update. I started to download it but then the full game started to download again.

I have been searching for fixes for this same problem without success. I donwload all my games in this D: disc and other platforms dont cause any trouble. I dont have a really good internet so i cant download 100s of gbs fast so this issue is really bad for me.

Right. So it was only 1 time this problem occurred, right?

This is common, it reinstalls even if it detects any corrupted files.

Gonzalo, This happens when the game checks the files and notices that there is a corrupted file. Then it downloads the entire game again, but in an optimized way.

Did this happen once, or does it happen with every game, every update?

There are thousands of possible reasons, I can't confirm what really happened.

If this becomes a constant error, let me know.

But initially, it does happen and it's quite normal.
