Xbox app for PC not working for me (INSIDER - March update)

Before the march update the xbox app worked all right but now once I open it I can't navigate it in any way, it doesn't register my mouse clicks, the items don't highlight anymore when I pass my mouse over them.

Also I can't close it, only from task manager.

It's almost like it had frozen and became unresponsive but it does react to me scrolling up or down so it isn't frozen, it just won't let me do anything besides scrolling.

I've already tried to install it again but the problem stays :/

I installed the insiders hub app. Joined insiders ring and it gave me an update.

I installed the update and it works now.

I can't report it if my Xbox is bricked, besides someone on Reddit figured out a workaround. Since I was an insider offline update would not work for my Xbox. I tried a factory rest everything that didn't work either. The only thing that work was dfor
me to download the insider app on my PC and unenroll from the program, only than would my xbox factory reset properly.

Are yoi in the insiders program ?

If so tand a factory reset wont work nor willl thr osu as its meant for offical updates

If you are in the insidera program you should really be posting in the regedit r/xboxinsiders

Now ONLY IF you are in the insiders program

Login on a windows 10 pc download the insiders app

Remove your console from the insiders program wait 10mins then reboot the console it will update to regular public updates

Now redownload the insiders app and reapply

That's odd. With that hardware specs you should be able to use the Xbox app properly (I have a PC with an i5 2th gen and the app works as expected)

In order to assist you properly, tell me. Did you joined to any insider program? (Windows, Gaming for Windows, etc)

Please double check this via Windows Settings > Windows update > Insider

Or check if you're on the Gaming for Windows program downloading the Insider Hub app from the Microsoft Store > once opened select "Joined"

If maybe you don't participate in any program. Let's try the opposite. Join to the Gaming for Windows program via insider hub.

Restart your PC and check for updates via Microsoft Store. Update all the apps and let me know how it goes

Hello there, and thanks for being an Xbox Insider on PC! Can you confirm for me that you have the latest updates to the Insiders' version of the Xbox App installed? As in, when you go to the Microsoft Store, there's no additional updates pending for the Xbox app after the beginning of this month?

So you're aware, this is a known issue that was being investigated in the preview versions of the Xbox app, and the latest updates to the Xbox app for Insiders included some fixes for the problem. If you have the latest updates, and you are still experiencing this problem, it is crucial that as an Insider you submit a bug report through the Xbox app so that our teams can continue to investigate and fix the problem.

To submit a bug report from the Xbox app:

Select your profile icon
Select Feedback
Select Report a Problem in the prompt that appears
Complete the report in the Feedback Hub app when it's pulled up
