    Xbox app for PC not installing


    Yesterday after downloading wo long, App said something about a download so it can be played (while I was playing the game), I started doing it after 3-4 hours game crushed and xbox app was kinda broken. I couldn't play the game using the app but if I used the short cut on desktop it would have worked. I deleted the xbox app to reinstall today and well nothing happens. Download stops at 914,9kb so I cannot reinstall it or play the games now

    Yes it is still available. If you are trying to install the game on PC, then you need the Xbox app and the Ubisoft Connect PC app installed as well from the Ubisoft website.

    Just search for it on the app, then select it to install, and will install from the Ubisoft Connect app for you.

    Seems like Gears 5 needs to be installed using the Xbox PC Beta App. Please check if your Windows 10 is version 1903 or not. If it is an earlier build the Xbox App does not seem to install. i have this problem with my Surface Book 2 which cannot update to
    1903 due to an issue with that build and the surface line. This means i cannot install the Xbox PC app, and as a result i cannot install Gears 5.

    The store on a regular computer links to your Xbox App on PC which shoudl allow you to install it.

    Delete your Xbox App Pc Beta , update windows, Install Xbox App Pc Beta again, login and check if it solve.

    Install the Xbox Companion app if you haven't installed it on your PC. Then open the Xbox app and see if you can create a chat party there.
