Xbox app for Pc displays "there was an error" message instead of individual games

On the main game pass page, the a sad face as well as the message "there was an error" is displayed in the squares where games are shown e.g. new games, most popular, etc. The featured section, all games browser and the HALO sections still display normally.

I am getting this error too, tried usual restarting etc. Seemed to happen on the day of the conference 23/07. Tried reinstalling etc same issue.

Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that your Xbox App is giving you an error message on the section that shows most of the games. We recommend power cycling your computer. If this does not resolve the issue, we recommend making sure
that

Hello. I am having the same error. I have been using the service for a year and never had an issue. This started to happen a few days ago. I am a PAYING customer so this is a bit appalling. I have updated both Windows 10 and all the software. If this can't
get fixed I'll be forced to quit my subscription.

I updated and reset a couple times and eventually it worked, however thr pronlem returned a few days lster and none of the previous methods have fixed it.

Hello, I'm having the same issue as OP. I have restarted my computer, updated Windows 10 and reinstalled the Xbox (beta) app. I still have this error. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
