Xbox app for iPhone- can’t join parties.

I downloaded the Xbox app today to talk to my friends while I play with them from a seperate console. When they tried to invite me, a message came up saying ‘Update the app to join the latest version of parties’ or something along those lines. However,
upon checking the app store, there is no update available. I cannot talk to my friends now while playing a game. I tried starting the party myself then inviting my friends, and that works, but it’s a bit of a hassle if my friends are already in a party and
playing. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks.

I have the same exact problem. I have been hoping everyday this issue would fix itself but everyday it tells me to update my app which does not exists. I have re installed my app many times, checked for software updates, checked my app store for updates and
none for the xbox app exists. If anyone knows how to fix this please reply.

Have you tried uninstalling the app and then install it again?

I'm always having a hard time using the Xbox APP on my iphone even when both are updated to the most recent updates. I'm always running into some sort of bug. You're not alone!
