Xbox app .EXE

The Xbox Beta app needs the UWP framework which isn't implemented in Wine.

If you wish to run the Windows 10 Xbox Beta App (or any other UWP App from the Windows 10 Store), the only way to do that on your Mac is by dual booting or Virtualization.

Wine will not help in this case.

It won't work on a mac. The beta app is an extension of the Windows Store, hence it only works on Windows 10. Only way you could get this to work would be via bootcamp and an install of Windows 10.

Then there is the question of whether your hardware is up to the task of playing the games.

I have tried that, but the website recognizes I am running macOS and won't let me download it. I assume if I had a Microsoft OS to use I could download it and send the .EXE file to myself.

You must run the windows 10 thru bootcamp or if you insist on WINE ask on wine forums you arent using a supported product we cant really comment on it

As you would need to load the nessary libraries including direct x

Then there is the issue if your gpu supports it

Intel gpus which some .macs do come with unless you have ati or nvidia cards

Anytime you are using an emulator its best to ask their support forums

Using wine isnt really designed to be user friendly its more designed for apps then games

Also should be noted that the app runs the games themselves within the app not externally

So the mac file system may not work with it thats something you need to take up with the forums

As you may have to make a windows partition

Its a lot of work that may not work as you arent using the app as ita intended or designed

Make sure you download the correct version as you need the win64 windows 10 dlls plus the correct direct x drivers and a supported gpu
