Xbox app error code 0x8009030d

Just to clarify, when exactly does the error appear?

So a couple weeks ago, i was playing microsoft flight simulator when the error appeared and it didn't let me play, so i decided to reinstall it then it didn't let me so i decided to uninstall xbox and reinstall it. Now every time i try to log in it just loads then shows the error for me.

Thanks for sharing what you’ve already tried. Let’s try a different approach.

1. Go to this folder: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys

2. Look for files that start with these patterns:

- c23...

- 6de...

These are the system-protected keys used by Windows and services like Xbox, Store, and IdentityProvider. The file names won’t be app-specific, but they follow consistent patterns for Microsoft services.

3. Right-click on one of these files → Properties → Security tab.

4. Check that these have Full Control:

- SYSTEM

- Administrators

- NETWORK SERVICE

If they don’t, you can add them manually:

5. In the Security tab, click Edit → Add.

6. Add SYSTEM and give it Full Control.

7. Repeat the process for Administrators and Network Service if it appears.

Important: Do not delete any of these keys, as it could break cryptographic operations across the system.

After this, restart your computer and see if the issue persists.

Press Windows Key + R > Type msconfig > Select Services > Check the box Hide all Microsoft Services > Select Deactivate All.
