Xbox App does not appear in Windows "Sound Mixer"

    "Xbox Accessories" App does not appear in my App Store.

    Actually I ended up digging thru the depths of "All Settings" and finding out that the Xbox Accessories app was already installed under "controller" or something. It definitely wasn't just an App that was available! thanks microsoft...

    I'd have to agree that I can't find any settings or options within the sound mixer. I'd recommend heading over to
    Xbox Ideas, powered by UserVoice and posting some feedback for the developers for this to possibly be in a future update. This seems very similar to the Xbox One with the snapped app and the demand for the volume
    control between the two.

    Volume Mixer does not have Xbox listed with the other apps. Oddly I did a Reset via the app section and that seemed to have fixed it. Thanks anyways.

    In windows app "XBOX ", I cannot select drive. Drive combobox disbled and "() unknown availble" is displayed.

    Whilst good sound advice it really does not work as this appears to be a bug after update, not sure which one could be windows or the app itself, what worked for me (using the game pass) was to go direct to the Microsoft store and download from there don't use xbox app until game is installed

    Any way to change the volume on a Snapped TV window? (or increase volume in the main working window?)

    This is done under Settings > Display & Sound > Sound Mixer. Adjust the mixer to give more or less volume to the main app vs. the side bar. Then use the volume as usual through the sound system.
