Xbox app crashes on startup, and cant open game pages on microsoft store

Hello! I've had this problem for 3 days now, when I try to open a games page on the Microsoft Store it crashes, the Xbox app also crashes when I try to launch it

Here are the Crash error that i get from Microsoft store crash:

The problem only occurs in the Microsoft Store when I'm logged into an account, otherwise I can open any page without any problem when logged off.

I have tried, repairing and resetting and even reinstalling the Xbox app, Microsoft store, and gaming services, i've tried to install gaming serivces through powershell, sfc scan and chkdsk, wsreset the windows store, reinstalled windows through the Recover- reset..

With the error message you shared, we can analyse and get that: WinStore.App.exe process, Microsoft Gaming App process crashes while running, where ntdll.dll is the module that causes the crash. Usually, this can be caused by application compatibility issues, corrupted system files or driver issues, and hardware damage can also cause ntdll.dll to crash.

You mentioned that you have no problem opening the game page in Microsoft Store while logged out. Please try creating a new Microsoft account to sign in to the Microsoft Store.

You have tried many steps, Microsoft store reset, DISM commands, restarting the game service and even resetting the system, but the problem persists. It is important to note that by resetting the system but the problem is still not resolved, it means that the part of your system image that has the ntdll.dll in it is most likely corrupt. This prevents regular system fixes from taking effect.

Please ensure that you backup any important data, including Documents, Pictures, Videos, and more.

Prepare a flash driver with at least 8GB (Pay attention to backup data, because creating a boot disk will erase all data of the flash driver). Then operate it on another Windows computer.
VisitDownload Windows 10 (microsoft.com) and click "Download Now" to download MCT(Media Creation Tool).
Run the MCT, select "Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD or ISO file) for another PC”, and then choose Language, Version, Architecture(if you are not sure about these, choose "Use the recommended options for this PC"), then select "USB flash drive" in the "Select Media to Use" interface, then make a boot disk.

Now my microsoft store and xbox app do what my minecraft was doing. App crashes as soon as i open it.

I found the game in the Microsoft Store app. Seems like the game should be in the Xbox app though and when using the install link from the game page it opens the Xbox app.

Thanks for keeping me posted, Zahar. Kindly try to disable auto updates to games and apps in the Microsoft Store.

the Start screen, then select Microsoft Store.

In Microsoft Store at the upper right, select the account menu (the three dots) and then select Settings. Under App updates, set Update apps automatically to Off. Then press Windows key + R to launch the Run box.

Type in service.msc and click OK. When Services open scroll down to Microsoft Account Sign-in Assistant.

Double-click on it to open Properties.

Note: The startup type should be set to Manual.

If you see Startup status on Stopped in the lower left portion, click/tap on Start, then Apply, and OK. Please verify if the issue still persists on Xbox app and MS store.

The Microsoft Store only provides an "Install from Xbox App" button for Xbox Game Pass games instead of a download option, which then opens a game's install page in the Xbox App.
