Xbox app crashes and I'm not able to even open it

Hi everyone. Days ago my Xbox app stopped working. I was being able to open it, but in 5 secs more or less it shutted down. Yesterday, after an update, now I'm not even able to open it. I have tried all the suggestions I've found, like reset de app, repair, clean the Microsoft Store cache, uninstall and reinstall... Nothing seems to work. My version of W10 (updated to the last one) is Pro N, and I have two screens running at the same time. Any advise? I'm desperate!!!!

Thanks for the info, Jamie. It didn't fix the problem though.

However, I FINALLY found what the problem was: in versions of Windows like mine, W10 Pro N, it's necessary to install the Media Feature Pack through Optional Features menu. Once done, everything is fixed and works perfectly!!

have you tried a clean reboot? Perform a clean boot, this helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows 10. Here is the link on how to perform a clean boot.

Good Day Javier,

My name is Carlo, I'm an Independent Advisor and community member like you.

I am also using Windows 10 pc. Let us work together to sort this out.

Here's the steps you can try.

-Press Windows key + X

-Go to Settings

-Click Update and Security

-Click Troubleshooter then Additional troubleshooter.

-Look for Windows Store App and run the troubleshooter.

-Press Windows key + X

-Click Windows Powershell Admin

-Copy and paste each of the command below and hit enter.

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage –allusers

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

That will open the Gaming Services page in MS Store when you press Enter.

Then click Get to reinstall Game Services.

Once done restart your computer and try to open the app.

If the issue persists, perform Repair Upgrade, this will re-install the Windows without affecting your files and apps, it will repair and replace any corrupted system files.

Step 1: Download Media Creation Tool from Microsoft.

Step 2: Run MediaCreationTool.exe.

Step 3: Choose "Upgrade this PC now".

Step 4: Select "Keep personal files and apps".

Step 5: Let it install
