    Has anyone ever faced this issue? Since day 1, the Xbox app on my ROG Ally X has been constantly freezing, at the most random moment (example: while performing a search, while browsing the library, while checking GamePass).

    Funny enough, I know when it's going to freeze when images don't load anymore. Of course, everything is up to date, and I'm tempting to reset the device. I'm on Xbox Insider: External Delta | 2604.1001.9.0

    Games run great, assuming I can start them from the Xbox app (I heavily rely on Game Pass so this has to be my launcher).

    Has anyone faced this?

    You should not be running anything at 120hz on a portable device. Your battery will make a flood look tame how fast it empties. I'm sure some games will but it's not a good idea

    This is a Windows handheld, and it plays windows games, and only PlayAnywhere games would be playable from your Xbox library

    I had a problem with message icon indicating unread messages and the fix for me was to force stop on my xbox app on my mobile device and the restart the app. this fixed both the xbox 1 X and the xbox mobile app.

    at this time there is no indication that would happen

    you could play them through cloud gaming, but these games cannot function natively on a PC which is what this is.

    While Xbox shares many of the same technologies, it contains strong digital rights management, as well as a custom architecture that is not compatible with the PC

    Please give a try this potential solution:

    Step 1. Reset the Microsoft Store cache by opening the Run window (If you have a keyboard connected, press the Windows key + R)

    Step 2. Type wsreset.exe and wait until the Microsoft Store opens.

    Step 3. Download the Insider Hub app once you search for it on the Microsoft Store.

    Step 4. Open the app and go to “previews”, find the “Windows Gaming” preview and join to it.

    Step 5. Restart your Rog Ally, then open the Microsoft Store and search for updates.
    If there is no new update for the Xbox app, please uninstall the app, run again the wsreset.exe command and try to install it directly from the Microsoft Store.
