Xbox app connecting?

Im using the xbox app on my ipad, and when ever i try to connect to a party it just says “connecting” along with all the other party members.

Microsoft set to unleash Xbox One apps

Microsoft is ready to unleash Xbox One apps

Microsoft is planning to open up its Xbox One apps platform in a big way this summer. While the software maker has remained consistently quiet around its timing for cross-platform (universal) apps running on its gaming console, sources familiar with Microsoft’s plans tell The Verge that the company will start to allow more and more apps on the Xbox One by the end of the year. Microsoft is planning to detail its plans fully at the company’s Build developer conference in April, but we understand they’ll involve allowing developers to turn retail Xbox One units into developer kits.

Microsoft will also publish an SDK preview in May alongside the retail to dev kit switch, and both will be available publicly for developers to start creating apps in the summer timeframe. Microsoft currently restricts Xbox One app development to a small group of app developers, and this new program will open this up to everyone. Developers will also be able to use beta apps to test them with the community, and apps will finally be able to run in the background allowing third-party music apps to continue outputting music while a game is being played.

Existing Xbox One apps will continue to run on the console, but Microsoft is planning to switch over to universal apps in November. The switch means developers will be able to submit and publish apps in November, and they’ll need to be built on the new universal apps SDK. Windows 10 will arrive on the Xbox One later this year to support these new apps, and Microsoft is slowing moving its approval and store policies to a pace that will allow developers to submit apps to Xbox One in a similar way to the existing Windows Store. This will allow a lot more apps to arrive on the Xbox One this November.

hmm..have you tried restarting the Ipad and reinstalling the xbox app? If so I would look in the network settings but Ive had this issue before when I was on the pc. It may either be your internet or its the APP it self being buggy. but I would try these
and if it doesnt work LMK, and I will do my best to assist you further ^_^

Tried both, no luck all my other apps seem to be fine, so i dont think its my internet

that is odd it could be the APP it self then possibly A bug. Because ive had this issue before on the xbox app when i used it on my pc, and it fixed itself when i recently went back lol

Xbox App Server Connectivity on Windows 10 is blocked. If you're attempting to use the Xbox App's ability
to connect to a console, be sure to allow connectivity on the Xbox One. To ensure your console's configured to connect to the Xbox app visit
Settings>Preferences>Xbox App connectivity there you may select whether the console can be connected to any device, devices with profiles signed in on the Xbox, and blocking connections overall.

If you are on the xbox app the easiest way to have your console connected with the app is to make sure your app and the xbox is connected to the same wireless network.

It seems like it may be a connectivity issue to Xbox Live through the Xbox app. Open the Xbox app on the PC's having trouble and then go to the Settings in the side panel and then go to Network. Check the section where it says Server connectivity and make
sure that is connected. If it shows that it's blocked go ahead and follow this guide to troubleshoot the issue:

If it says it is connected, then restart the PC's and re-sign into the Xbox app.

Let us know what it says in the network settings of the Xbox app.

on email1 i have connected to xbox app there is no purchase but on email2 i dont have connected to xbox app is a purchase.but i played the game and got achievements on xbox app with email 1
