Xbox app cloud gaming won't connect to console

you can use the Xbox cloud gaming app to play games on the cloud, but there is no way to connect it to the console, wired or wireless

There won't be an issue as long as the account is connected to xbox live on both consoles, as games are saved automatically to the cloud.

We understand that you are trying to use the Xbox Remote play feature on your Xbox Console to play games. We think your Xbox console is set up properly. However, there is one thing you should be aware of when using Xbox Remote Play from an Xbox Console to a PC or phone: both devices need to be connected to the same network. In other words, your phone should be relatively close to the network that is connected to your console. While using a cellular connection for your phone is great, the Xbox Console on the other hand should also be connected to same cellular network.

We would like to recommend you use Xbox Cloud Gaming. This best suit your desire in playing Xbox Console games on a phone. Know more here:

Cloud storage won't work with a 2 day gold trial. Requires at least a full month of Xbox Live Gold.

If you have Gold on the One you also have Gold on the 360 if you log into the console with the account that has Gold. Buy a month of Gold on the One and use that to load save games into the cloud and access them from the Xbox One. Backward compatible games
won't transfer, they need to be downloaded to Xbox One from within My Games and Apps.

which app are u using? if you're using the Xbox app you must link your console to the app. if you're using Xbox Cloud Gaming, sign in with Microsoft if u havent already and then make sure your internet connection is good and try again.
