Xbox app, antivirus false intrusions.

Hi everybody, every time that I sign in with my account through the xbox app my antivirus detects intrusion attempts and when I close my account it doesn´t detect nothing.

Can someone help me plz? ;´v

Probably just a false positive that can happen sometimes with these antivirus software.

As far as I know, the issues have been addressed. That's why it's important to file feedback with the Xbox beta app.

Honestly, I don't know what else to tell you besides start looking at antivirus and the firewall. Are you using a a special antivirus? What happens if you turn the quality down?

 

What antivirus do you have? The Windows 10 Xbox App has discovery functions and tries to reach your Xbox devices through your local network for features like streaming or SmartGlass. This will probably be detected by your antivirus like "intrusion attempts".

Please, check if you can add exceptions or consider your choice and try another antivirus software that is ready for Windows 10.

 

I have panda GOLD protection, what antivirus do you recommend me? im bad finding good AV.

 

Panda should be a Windows 10 ready av. Since you have GOLD protection I suppose you can contact their support team and report the false positive.

If you decide to remove Panda av and change it, Windows Defender should be enough for a vast majority of people. You can search for free alternatives for additional security just googling "Windows 10 antivirus".

I have Avira Free Edition right now and everything is working as expected.
