    I've unplugged wired controller, I’ve windows key+x to rest the app, as someone who does not spent every waking moment on a pc, this is trash. Never in my 28 years of being alive has a bug so simple, has persisted for so long, i see forums of users solving themselves with a big **** you to Microsoft as you "supporters" really have nothing to say when it comes to actual help. This isn't a i need help, this is a fix your **** before the average consumer finds your product to time consuming to enjoy. I used to love mossing single-player games, but it's absolute trash i cant even download something from a game pass we pay monthly for, moral of this story, stay the **** away from game pass unless you own an Xbox, seeing as how the Xbox app and Microsoft store app, are ran with ape level intellect beings.

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

    Never in my 28 years of being alive has a bug so simple, has persisted for so long, i see forums of users solving themselves with a big **** you to Microsoft as you "supporters" really have nothing to say when it comes to actual help.
    I understand you are frustrated about the scroll problem, folk on the community, in support chats do try and help others with the problems they are facing. In terms of it being fixed, this depends on if the developers at Xbox/Microsoft have gotten feedback regarding this. The best thing to do would be to go to start > feedback > submit feedback

    This way, the team who monitor the feedback system based in Windows can look into this. They will be able to work with teams at Xbox if needed to resolve this.

    Sometimes bugs that appear "simple" are not simple to resolve. There can be many factors in a bug. This could be, but is never limited to:

    • The PC that the user is using (Hardware, software which may be interfering with the computer/device etc, is Windows up to date, etc...),
    • The controller the person is using (is the controller compatible, right drivers installed for the controller, etc...),
    • Do they know the root cause of the bug
    So while it may be simple to fix, it could take more time and resources.

    Then there is the other question on whether it is a small group of users experiencing the problem, or if it is a large % of users. If it is a small % of users, then it could be something on their PCs that is causing the issue.

    Lastly, when posting on the community (or submitting abuse reports), please follow the Code of Conduct & Terms of Use. Please don't start being abusive or start shouting. Not only will it cause issues such as your content being editied or worse, suspended from this commuity. People may be discouraged from participating in your discussions/threads as they may feel it is just going to end in a flame war. We aim to have a calm, positive atmosphere in the community, just like it is on Xbox.

    1. Click on Start and select Settings.
    2. Go to Update and Security.
    3. Click on Troubleshoot tab.
    4. Scroll down to the bottom and click on Windows Store Apps
    5. Scroll down to the bottom and click on Windows Store Apps
    Reset the Xbox App
      1. Click on Start and select Settings.
      2. Go to Apps.
      3. Click on Apps and Features.
      4. Now search for Xbox App and select the app.

    You can try following, try to install from Store after each step

    1. Run Windows App Troubleshooter

    Windows Key+X > Click Settings > Click Update & security > Click Troubleshoot > Scroll down to the bottom > Click Windows Store Apps > Click Run the Troubleshooter

    2. Reset Windows Store in Settings

    Type Apps in Windows Start Search box > Click Apps & Features > Scroll down & click Microsoft Store > Click Advanced Optons > Reset

    Let's try the Microsoft Store App troubleshooter:

    1. Click Start

    2. Type Troubleshoot and click on that.

    3. Scroll down to the bottom and select "Windows Store Apps" Then "Troubleshoot."

    4. See if any errors were fixed or if it says there were errors that couldn't be fixed (if it couldn't be fixed share what it says here).

    5. Reboot your PC.

    Sorry, I couldn't find a more appropriate forum -- My premium version of Solitaire has started showing ads again, even though I have 3 months before subscription renewal.

    Are you on PC?

    If yes, try to sign out from the Microsoft Store and the Xbox app from your account.

    Then go to PC settings > apps and features > installed apps > search the solitaire collection app and click on restart / reset app.

    After that sign into the account again, open the game and click on the three horizontal dots on the upper left, scroll down to the bottom and click on the "restore purchase"

    **If you're on mobile reinstall the app and repeat this: click on the three horizontal dots on the upper left, scroll down to the bottom and click on the "restore purchase"

    By the way, double check if the subscription purchased previpusly is the correct for the platform that you want to use.

    I mean, if you purchased the no ads subscription on PC, you can't use it on mobile and viceversa
