Xbox app and microsoft store app won't work, wont install anything and won';t install.

Troubleshoot Microsoft Store

Method 1:

Make sure your Windows OS is up to date.

make sure the date and time are set correctly

Method 3:

make sure you have enough storage

you can also try changing the download location.

Method 4:

open settings

search for troubleshooting apps

In the Microsoft Store, click Find and fix issues.

Method 5:

reset the microsoft store

go to settings

apps and features

find the microsoft store

click advanced options.

click reset.

if this doesn't work

click remove.

Method 6:

Try booting into safe mode.

if there is no problem with safe mode, boot to normal mode and update all drivers, especially display drivers, to the latest version.

Search for PowerShell and run it as an administrator

enter the command below:

You can try downloading these games from the Microsoft Store app. Simply search the game title – make sure you are signed in to the Microsoft Store app with your Microsoft account that owns Game Pass – and download it there.

None of these fixed the issue. Xbox app still infinitely loading and the Microsoft Store install button can be pressed, but it won't install or do anything.

I'm on Windows 11

An addition I noticed just now is that Xbox app won't install any game.

So far I've:

-Attempted to install the game through the Minecraft launcher, waited for multiple hours, and cancelled and restated the process multiple times.

-same goes for installing through the xbox pass app

-the Microsoft store won't let me install it giving me a price to buy it and a button that takes me to the Xbox app

-attempted installing the game onto my main drive (C and onto my separate games' drive

-Reinstalled Minecraft launcher

-Reinstalled xbox app

-uninstalled the "gaming services" app as per xbox site's instructions. The reinstall phase doesn't work because the app won't install back from the Microsoft store (like with 90% of the other reviewers there for the 1,7 star reviewed app btw.)

-however in the services listing Gaming Services is shown, twice

-restarted the computer multiple times in between these

I receive the error 0x80070005 on Xbox app when trying to install.

I checked the services mentioned. The Xbox named ones were manual, but changing then to automatic did not help.
