Xbox and pc purchases

So if I buy a game on pc from Microsoft like forza horizon 4, can I play that game on xbox also from buying it on the pc? Or if I buy it on xbox then am I able to play it on pc?

Since you bought it on the Xbox, you purchased the Xbox version. If you want to play it on PC, you'd have to purchase it for the PC.

Was the pack purchased on the PC or Xbox? Just asking to make sure you didn't purchase PC only DLC.

Also, are you sure the game is not the PC version?

Plenty of times if the game is on your account, but not on your Xbox, perhaps, the game is simply available on Xbox or you have purchased the PC version by mistake.

if you purchased the PC version by mistake, then, you can quickly get a refund and purchase the Xbox version.

If it has the "PLAY ANYWHERE" Icon in it's description, then you can play the game on your xbox and pc.
