    Xbox and Microsoft Store apps will not let me switch account on Windows 11 22H2


    Long story short, Whenever I try to sign in to a different account on the MS Store or Xbox App, the Sign-In prompt will either not appear, or will appear for a split second as a blank white window.

    Things i've tried:

    Restarting

    Running wsreset.exe as admin

    Set these specific windows services to Automatic: Xbox Live Auth Manager, Xbox Live Game Save, Xbox Live Networking Service, Gaming Services, IP Helper.

    My windows 11 install is on 22H2 as of writing this.

    Hello C0zmos, try to follow this procedures below.

    Using System File Checker in Windows

    1 - Type cmd (Command Prompt) in the search bar of the Start menu and then click Run as administrator.

    2 - Enter chkdsk /f/x/r/v

    Being in use the system will ask if the user wants to check the chosen drive after reboot. Just type S and restart the computer.

    Open Windows Powershell (Administrator)

    Then type or copy/paste this command and press enter:

    Get-appxpackage Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider | Remove-AppxPackage

    Restart your PC and install the recently deleted app:

    Finally go to Windows Settings > Apps and Features > Xbox app > Reset and Repair, then restart your PC and give it a new try.

    Yes to everything you are asking. Windows 11. yes latest 22h2. yes updated. yes all windows updates. yes xbox apps updated.

    I have the same issue using the windows store.

    I got Windows 11 Home 22H2. Also roblox was downloaded from the site and not from microsoft store because if you use the microsoft store version the mouse keeps going out of the screen.

    For me the solution was to switch on "Let apps run in the background" in the Windows settings (in Windows 10 it's Windows Settings->Privacy->Background apps), for Microsoft Jigsaw,

    Microsoft Store and Xbox. Before that, I couldn't download anything; afterwards everything started to work properly.
