Xbox and Microsoft Account Trouble

Now that I’m older, I wanted to change my account to be an adult so that I could customize more, such as replacing my gamerpic with a custom photo. I went through the trouble of making my microsoft account into an adult account now, but my Xbox repeadly
says I’m not old enough to change my gamerpic to a custom photo.

I don’t really know what the problem is here, I’ve tried restarting my Xbox, removing and readding my account to the Xbox, any other suggestions?

Microsoft Account Troubles

I turned on my XBOX 360, and I signed into my account, but when I did it wanted me to reenter my email and password. I did it, then it said that the information was incorrect, so I went on the computer and reset my password. So then I went back to my XBOX
and entered the new password, and it still said that it was incorrect, so I reentered it, thinking that it was just a typo, I did it slow this time, but still incorrect.

 

Microsoft Account Trouble

Sounds like a billing suspension. You have a card or payment option on file that had a subscription auto renewing to it. The card declined the charge which placed you into a billing suspension. Simply call xbox billing support 866-611-6188 as they are the
only ones that can fix this or have access to the tools to fix it. They will also be able to provide more information as they will see your billing statement as well. Call them and they will help you as long as you can access your proofs setup on that account.

Are you 18 or older? If not, then you’ll have to wait. You cannot change the age on your account, at least not that I’m aware of.

If you are 18 and the console doesn’t recognize it then remove your profile and then add it again.

The date of birth on your Xbox account is permanent. Support will not be able to assist in changing this. Nor will changing it on account.microsoft.com.

The only way to promote a child account to an adult account is to age into it over the natural course of time.
