    xBox and Controller


    I plugged my Rock Candy controller into one of the controller ports, but my xBox is not registering it. The circle stays black but the center is green. The controller itself turns on and shows a full green circle.

    I've only connected one to my xbox, but it connected to another xbox with no issue. I really don't think that means anything. Since sometimes it works fine with mine.

    When you press both sync buttons(on the console and controller) it seems like they "see" one another since they both stop and start flashing. But it doesn't give it a slot.

    By syncing I mean, It assigns the controller a spot and allows the controller to connect with the xbox. So that I may use it LOL. In my first post I said I couldn't get it to connect after writing the msg on here. Well once I finally got it to connect it
    worked great for a few days wirelessly. I plugged it in since the battery was low, and for an entire day it worked fine. Turning the xbox on and off with no issue. Yesterday it started disconnecting while plugged in! It would turn the xbox on no problems but
    in the middle of the game it would just disconnect and would give me a msg to reconnect controller.

    My issue right now is theres no real FIX. It seems like we're just guessing on what the issue is. It's really frustrating.

    Hey there Kas! Can you confirm how many controllers you have tried with your console and had them not work? Do all these controllers also work on other consoles, or do they behave the same?

    Also, can you describe what you mean when you say they won't sync. Does the ring just keep spinning, or does the controller not try syncing at all? Let us know, thanks!

    Well what kind of controller is this is it the original Xbox one controller or 3.5mm controller? If it is the original Xbox one controller it might be the controller malfunctioning with your Xbox because they are outdated.

    Hey David,

    First thing that comes to mind would be Using co pilot along side the adaptive controller. Co- pilot allows 2 different controllers to control player one,

    I wish you could use a Xbox 360 controller on the Xbox one controller. I like my
    Xbox 360 controller more then my Xbox one controller. i don't think anyone(Microsoft of controller
    manufacturers) will do Backward compatible controllers.
