Xbox and Belarus - what should it be?

Today some mass media sources stated:

"Microsoft refused to supply new Xbox Series consoles to Belarus due to the political situation in the country and sanctions."

Can you confirm this information or deny?

    Changing player's tag from Belarus

Belarus is not part of countries covered by xbox support so a method of payment issued in your country will not be recognizable
Is there any way to change the player tag while in Belarus?

May be I can change my country to Russia and then make payment? Is there any problem with credit card that registered in Belarus in this case? I have Visa Gold.

    Hello VadimBedunkevich,

Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you are unable to select Belarus as a region for your Xbox 360. We have a website that has
a list of supported regions for Xbox Live. Belarus does not appear to be on this list. That is why you are unable to select Belarus as a region for your Xbox 360. We suggest keeping
an eye on the list in case the country gets added to it in the future. We hope this information helps
    VadimBedunkevich!
