    Xbox analog stick inversions not working…


    I am trying to invert my axis’s on my right stick of an elite controller. Although the right stick is marked as inverted, nothing changes. Is there a work around or anything, it is very annoying in some situations. My controller is fully updated as well. Seems like this is a well known issue.

    I have done this, it is marked as inverted in the configuration but it still is not inverted.

    Hi, Ed! I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble remapping your Xbox elite controller. No worries, I'm happy to assist you with this today.

    Remapping controller

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    2. Under Profile & system, select Settings.

    3. Under Devices & connections, select Controllers & headsets.

    4. On the screen for your controller, select Configure.

    5. Click the stick you want to invert and then select Primary. Check at the bottom to invert the Y axis.

    You may also reset your Xbox controller to its default settings using the Xbox Accessories App:

    1. Select your controller in the app

    2. Choose Configure

    3. Select a profile

    4. Select Edit

    5. Select Restore to default

    You can also reset your Xbox controller by holding down the Pair button until it vibrates and turns off. After resetting, the controller will disconnect from all devices, and you'll need to pair it again.

    Then remap your controller again.
