    Xbox Ambassador abuse on Mixer stream


    I stopped to watch a stream iSniperzHD. He has the title Xbox Ambassador on his stream. "Xbox Ambassador l Xbox One l Road to 1K l RF". I typed hi and nice mask(his character had a nice mask on) He started going off, rudely,on how
    he doesn't want back seat gaming, read the rules etc etc.. Then he realized his mistake he started saying it is my fault and to drop it, guys nuts. The only reason I stopped by his stream was due to the Ambassador in his title.

    If you stream, what platform do you use and why?

    I don’t stream, but I prefer to watch Twitch. The Twitch app is a million times more stable than the Mixer app.

    The reason I do not like Mixer unless it’s an ambassador stream is because they have the most annoying feature. It’s actually a head scratcher as to why they have it. The give the viewers the ability to have some sort of gif pop up on screen over and over
    and over. It’s so annoying that I refuse to use it, unless it’s an ambassador I want to see.

    Hi,

    The reason for that is Mixer will be no more as of July 22nd. They will be moving that platform and merging with Facebook gaming. Xbox used Mixer formerly beam as the main streaming app, before that it was Twitch. Most will be going back or to Twitch for
    streaming including the ambassadors. You can download the Twitch app on your console. To stream you have to open the app first and mess with your pre stream settings then hit broadcast and return to the game of choice.

    As my fellow ambassadors said - you do not need an account to view mixer channels. It is for chat, following and other functions. It is to monitor otherwise anyone can spam/ abuse and be aggressive

    Why is mixer not appearing at all on my xbox out of no where when it used to be on till i realised that the broadcast option vanished?

    As of July 22nd Mixer formerly known as beam will be no more. Xbox used mixer as the main broadcasting stream venue. Twitch will be what a lot of people switch to including the ambassadors. You can download the Twitch app and still broadcast off you Xbox
    my accessing the app first and hitting broadcast.
