I understand that but you'd think Microsoft would be on someone to step it up and not take more orders if they don't have the stock

You would.have to contact citizen one as they govern all access for your region

Yes you can. To extend warranty coverage for your Xbox system, you can purchase Microsoft Complete with Accidental Damage Coverage at the time of your console purchase or within 45 days of console purchase. You will need to Contact a Microsoft Store sales agent.

If the you unable to reach the Microsoft store sales agent, you can request a call back or live chat on the Xbox support website. If you are facing any issues with that, please go through Microsoft support. Once you get to the virtual agent just say “Talk to an agent” and select Xbox as the product, and your issue from the list. Select the option “Call me back” or “Live chat”, which shows the estimated wait time/queue. If you don't see the options to request a call back or chat with support, change your category/topic until you do. If it does not work, please select billing & Subscriptions and "I don't recognize a charge".
