    Xbox All Access - Upgrading to the next console


    So I am very intrigued by the new Xbox All Access deal which has recently been rolled out. Like many people out there, I put off upgrading to an Xbox One X as I thought I would just wait for the next console,
    but with Xbox All Access it looked as if I could have both. But there are certain questions that I can't seem to find the answers to anywhere. Maybe someone out there will be able to help. (I am UK based so all the prices will be in £)



    When you start your contract with Klarna you start a 24-month contract paying £24.99 every month with the Xbox One X deal. This is also a promotional deal so if you keep up with the payments it will stay at 0% interest. When
    it comes to upgrading to the NEW Xbox you must trade in your old Xbox or pay the difference. At this point you start a new 24-month contract with Klarna for the new Xbox.



    What is not answered is that when you start this new contract will it still be at 0% interest or are they going to hike it up to 18.9 APR, which would be quite a lot of extra money. I feel they will turn around and say
    "sorry new contract, different deal, that 0% was just a promotional code, if you want to upgrade to the new console you will have to pay our interest"



    Also, what will the price of the new contract be? it is £24.99 right now which is very reasonable but are they going to increase the new 24-month contract alongside the new console? Looked everywhere for an answer but could
    not find anything. I have already spoken with Xbox support and GAME support who could not really shed any light on this. GAME support was useless.



    Any help would be massively appreciated.

    The query you have posted cannot be answered effectively by Xbox support but by the banker Klarna.

    If the deal states its NO cost EMI aka 0% means it wont charge you with interest rates for the period of contract.

    But to ensure if you have doubts get in contact with the nearest banks representative.

    Next Gen is next year. I would personally recommend waiting as from what I've heard, Project Scarlett (the new Xbox) will be fully backwards compatible. Alternatively, I you can subscribe to Xbox All Access to get a new Xbox One X with the option to upgrade

    If I pay full price for a new xbox one x, can I upgrade it to Scarlett for free when it releases?

    The short answer is no, definitely not. The long answer is that there will be an upgrade option with Xbox All Access if you get the One X through it, though that will involve trading back in your Xbox One X to Microsoft and continuing the payment plan further.
    When you buy a 2019 car outright, you can’t just take it back to the dealership next year and get the 2020 model for free, same thing with consoles. More details on Xbox All Access here : https://www.xbox.com/xbox-all-access
