First off the service plain does not work and is entirely klarna, but at the end of the day Microsoft chose them as the financier.

I have tried every day since the 5th of November to sign up to the services and every day I get declined as do many others across the UK.

The customer service from both Microsoft and klarna has been appalling and I am looking into how I can file a formal complaint as the help I received is completely unacceptable.

Neither the agent from Microsoft(who barely spoke my language) knew what xbox all access was or the one from klarna, what did you not brief your staff on this massive deal?

I have been a xbox customer for over 10 years and I liked the idea of getting a xbox one x and upgrading next year as I put off getting a x because I didn't know when the next gen was coming.

My question is why don't you want my money and how on gods green earth do I contact someone that will actually give a damn about the fact a big deal is not working properly?

I am not sure what the problem is with this other than as mentioned previously about failing credit checks. Credit checks take a lot into account, not just how much you earn but also current debt (loans, mortgages, car finance etc) along with past history.
Each institution has different criteria. A high credit score doesn't necessarily mean you will be accepted. Klarna is a popular company to use for the European market as it is European. PayPal is sometimes used.

I have just got a new Xbox One X on All Access without any problems or being asked to take out extra debt as you mentioned. I have a few friends and family that have done the same without issue.

I would suggest contacting Klarna to see what the issue is as this is a problem with them and not Microsoft.

I have just been declined as well and I have no credit issues and cannot understand why i was declined for what is relatively small credit.

I take it from your thread above you have heard of many people being declined?

I would have thought for the UK clients, Microsoft would have chosen a UK financier?

I wouldn't recommend signing up to any credit scheme that doesn't tell you how much you will actually have to pay to get what you want.

There might be a few reasons why the application was declined.

Affordability, credit history etc is just a few.

As financial institutions has certain rules that they need to follow to operate in the sector.

You might want to contact Xbox support to inform them about your concerns regarding the new service.

My credit history is fine it was the first thing I did when declined, a lot of people are experiencing the same problem.

One person told me he is on 40k a year with credit score of 880 out of 999, this is why I'm saying it is a joke.

Also klarna has been prompting people to take out £50 worth of debt first which is completely unacceptable.

Its almost scam like.
