    Xbox All Access and Game Pass


    I bought an Xbox One S with All Access a few months ago. Recently, on the Microsoft website, I was trying to pay ahead on my All Access subscription but it actually set up a whole new subscription to Game Pass Ultimate. Now I'm paying $25/month for my original
    All Access Game Pass, and a second $15 a month for a different Game Pass, I guess? If I cancel the new subscription, will it also get rid of the Game Pass subscription that came with my Xbox?

    I really don't know what to do here, and I can't get through to talk to a human on Microsoft's end. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Also, if you purchase Game Pass first, then it would be converted to Ultimate and if you cancel ultimate, you would lose your Game Pass subscription. So if you do cancel Ultimate, do it first before you downgrade to just Game Pass.

    Which subscription are you downgrading to, is it Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, or Game Pass Core?

    If Game Pass Core, you will only have access to just over 30 games that are part of the Game Pass catalogue, and online multiplayer.

    If Xbox Game Pass, you will have access to all the Game Pass games on the Xbox Console, and no online multiplayer.

    If PC Game Pass, then you will have access to all the Game Pass games on the PC including EA Play, and online multiplayer.

    If you didn't see the code during setup, change under either Settings and Account or in your Full Library under Games and Apps for a section labelled "Included with this Xbox " and you can redeem it from there.

    If that does not show. Then usually there was an issue where your console's serial number was not entered correctly as being All Access. You'll need to contact the credit card company your All Access is through to see about getting that fixed.

    When I get my Series X on the All Access program, there was no code in the box, the console somehow already knew it was an All Access console and the moment I signed in on my account I had the 24 months of Games Pass.

    There is a setting in the console settings somewhere that shows it came with All Access, have a look around and you'll find it eventually.

    Just to clarify there are 3 services on Xbox...

    Xbox Live Gold: give you access to online multiplayer, Games With Gold, discounts and other promos.

    Xbox Game Pass (console): Give you access to a catalog of 100+ games that you can play and discounts for those games.

    The third one is:

    Xbox Game Pass Ultimate: that give you all the benefits of Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass (console) plus give you access to Xbox Game Pass (Pc)

    So, the best option is Xbox Game Pass Ultimate!
