    Xbox Achievements Unlocking offline


    I have a game called Kane and lynch Dead Man on the 360. That randomly unlocked achievements offline. While playing a separate game. I don't know if this is a glitch, but I take playing games seriously based on how I beat and achieve achievements, and only for this to happen. Is there a way to get these removed or something? I don't want my account to be contained with an offline achievement that I had no control over, as I put so much time and energy into getting high up on the achievement leaderboard.

    I've been playing offline and still unlocking achievements.

    The only difference between unlocking achievements offline and online is that achievements unlocked when offline are not date stamped.

    Hi byNeizo,

    At any point in time did you unlock these achievements while offline on the Xbox 360?

    Achievements are synced over Xbox Live so if you unlocked achievements on the old Xbox 360 while offline, then your progress will not be reflected if you get a new console or on True Achievement website.

    if you unlock achievements offline and recover you profile on aother xbox online the achievements you unlocked offline will be locked the best way to get around this is to use a usb config the usb to your xbox and put your profile on it

    Is there any chance you have been playing offline on the Xbox One? Achievements don't unlock while offline, but any earned offline would unlock when you connect to the Internet.

    If you unlocked those achievements offline, a timestamp cannot be added to the achievement; it must be unlocked online for that.
