To resolve this issue, you will need to contact Xbox Support. They will be able to assist you in updating the device ID on your license so that it matches the device ID on your new device.

Scroll down the page and click on Contact Support.

Select your "Other Products" and "Billing and Account Profile Questions" > Confirm.

xbox accounts and microsoft accounts were fully merged years ago, you can no longer separate or move an xbox account to another microsoft account as the xbox account IS the microsoft account now.

From what I understand you have a Xbox account (Child) which is linked to a Microsoft (Parent) account.

On your Parent/Microsoft account please try visiting Family Settings and Press on the Child > Manage Consent > After this try updating any details linked to your account.
