    Xbox account unable to be recovered


    I have had my account locked and am unable to recover this online despite multiple attempts. At some point the phone number was changed so can't recover it that way. Despite putting my gamertag and xbox live device ID as well as payment details (which I know are correct as I have my billing invoice from paypal) it still refuses to let me recover this.

    Is there any way to recover the account? If not I have been charged an xbox live pass recently and that has not been used - how can I request a refund.

    This is from a different account than the one I am using to write this (as I can't sign in)

    Just to clarify, have you recover your account? If you have recovered your account, and you are seeking to recover some in-game items, this is something that we here on the Xbox Forums are unable to assist you with.

    Xbox Customer Support is also unable to assist you with recovering your items, as anything in-game falls out of our scope of support.

    I'm sorry about any confusion or turmoil this might have caused.

    Hello Chris,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. Unfortunately, support is unable to reset passwords. The account recovery form is how an account is recovered. Make sure when you fill it out the name and birthdate are right. Also, put that you purchased something, it will
    ask for gamer tag last four of card and Xbox console id. These are important to put on as it helps recover the account. If support is unable to verify the account, then they are unable to give any information as they are unable to see anything. This is all
    security in place by Microsoft.

    If you are unable to
    recover your account     by using the ACSR document, then it is unlikely that you will be able to recover your account. If you do know what the password and email are to your account, then there is a way to "force" additional security info to your account to
    recover access, and you can do that by following
    this     link.

    Xbox Customer Support would be unable to assist you with recovering your account and here on the Xbox Forums, we lack the necessary tools to grant you access to your account.
