Xbox account trouble

I monthly receive emails from microsoft saying that the old microsoft account associated with my xbox live email has been hacked even with my two step authentication in place, its an old account so i dont really give a cripe about my emails and stuff on
there .

Now the real problem is that years ago i tried to log into live with my current email ,which i use and will use for the rest of my life, by accident and it created a new xbox account. Until now ive let it slide because its caused no dramas to me but when
i receive that monthly email it does wind me up, ive tried to change the primary alias of my email for my xbox to my current one in hopes itll fix the problem but ofcourse its linked to an account which means nothing to me.

How do i go about deleting the useless xbox account entirely thats linked to my much important email address I use for everything then putting that in the Primary email address i need for my xbox live Account?

Its telling me ill have to delete my email account even with a fake or useless email I tried to apply as primary alias in the **** account and cant use any other email as a primary alias regardless of the fact i tried with its my girlfriends with nothing linked
to it other than her work emails? Surely there is a way around this or am i gonna have to hope and pray a microsoft member can do the swap for me?

The point is i have all the passwords but do not use the account but its linked to my live , i want to move my live over to my permanent email and then delete the old account and other xbox profile i accidentally created which is hindering me moving it

go to https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/account-profile/manage-account/compromised-account-solution to see if you
can recover the old email address and lock the hacker out.

even if you don't use the email service, it is worth recovering it to protect your Xbox account.

if that doesn't work you can click the Contact us button on that page.

select Family and online safety as the category

select I want to protect my account as the topic

skip the Covid notification

scroll to the bottom of the options and select Request a call or Chat online

Hey SoleHarmony8983! Do other accounts sign in successfully on the console? Do you have 2 factor authentication enabled on your account? Additionally, are you using a wired or wireless connection? Post back and let us know!

Pretty sure you will need to contact phone support for this one. If you can identify that you own the account,(not certain exactly what all is involved with that) they should be able to help you sort things out. 800-4MY-XBOX for the US and Canada.

Also whats more annoying in this day and age you cant even just delete an account? Really? I know theres issues with security but surely thats what questions and mobile numbers confirmation are for ?
