Xbox account sign in across multiple consoles

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this issue. I can totally see how your friend has put you in a tight spot. If you do change your password, it should ask him for it before it tries to sign him in with the new password.

But i have changed my password & resolved the issue thanks so much

According to the support site, you can play a digital game from any XB1 console, but you must be signed into Xbox LIVE. If it's your home console however, (ie. the one you've designated at your home Xbox) anyone can play it regardless of whether or not your
profile is signed in.

In other words, from what I've gathered, licenses work in a similar fashion as the 360, with games being tied to your XBL account and to your home console.

Hey iTomDotCom,

aswell as you are connected with Xbox Live on the other Console and using the same Profile then yes you can download and Play Fifa17 on that Xbox, too.

Your games follow along with your Account and you can Play them even on a friends Xbox if your signed in and connected to Xbox Live.

Home-sharing from one console doesn't cut it. The master account is constantly signed out when the other accounts have to sign in to it to access the content. It seems ridiculous to punish repeat purchasing customers when you could easily adopt a Netflix-esque/Spotify
family sharing across multiple devices service for multiple consoles.

Also, stop charging Xbox users for gold privileges when PC has never been charged for multiplayer. It's greedy.
