Xbox Account Recovery Gone Wrong - Are you serious Xbox?

Okay so about a week ago, my friend and I were gamesharing, I said that I would like to stop, he gets angry, we argue, and one thing leads to another Im on the xbox website on my account trying to implement security measures before he changes them all.
But it was too late, it kicked me out of the session because it saw he updated all my info. He changed my passwords, emails, phone numbers, and even the authenticator app phone number to his. So I chat with Microsoft 3-4 times that day most going nowhere except
one told me how to recover my account which worked for a whole five minutes before he emergency recovered his security data, so I couldn’t change them for 30 days. BIG NOTE: I GAVE ENOUGH INFO ON THE ACCOUNT MULTIPLE TIMES FOR IT TO GIVE ME A CODE TO RECOVER
MY ACCOUNT BEFORE I RAN OUT OF TRIES. But anyway I contact support one more time, this representative forwards it up to the higher up people to handle this as he sees in completely locked out, I give the device id and stuff of my xbox, and give him all my
personal info in a data transfer thing so he can send it to the other people. I say thanks and he says I should be seeing a response in three days... I get one back in five and it says I didnt provide the right info, when it was MY info that was in the account
and got those recovery forms to go through every try. Does xbox not realize he changed my info? So either xbox is
[Mod Removed - Inappropriate] me or he changed my info that well. I really want my account back, it has my progress, xbox live, etc etc on there and Im tired of getting [Mod Removed - Inappropriate].

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. Since you've already gone through our Compromised Account Solution and also
contacted support and the case was escalated, your best bet is to reply to the email you received from the agent stating that the info was not correct and request another review. If you don't hear back from them, you can always

contact support again, refer to your case number (beginning with SR) and request an update by the agent you speak with.

In regards to what Smwutches previously stated, it is a violation of the
Code of Conduct/Terms of Use to give out your account information in general as it does open up the possibility of an account being stolen amongst other things. The best you can hope for is that by following up, you may recover your account.

Not really sure how that is and Xbox issue but support is the only people that can help. However, there is a chance you have lost your account for good as he can do anything he wants to it.

When you break the rules bad things can happen. This is one of the main reasons the code of conduct tells you not to share your account information with another user

This is a classic example of why one shouldn't game share with others. Good luck getting your account straightened out.

You may want to tell your friend that you will contact the police to file an identity theft case against him for stealing and misappropriating your Microsoft account. Maybe that will make him think twice and give you back your account before the authorities
are involved. If you contact the police, make sure to let them know that your friend removing access to your Microsoft account is effectively theft given that all of your content purchases etc are associated with the account.

Hey guys thanks for the fast responses, I am aware that it was against the Terms and Conditions and I understand the outcome that came with it. Obviously im very frustrated and I obviously didnt expect him to do that but it happened and thats what I get.
It just upsets me that I give the exact info that was on there and still nothing could come of it.
