Xbox Account hooked up to Work Email

Due to some issue that I never was able to figure out, my computer/personal Microsoft account (made with and displaying a personal email account) to was linked to a work account (not even logged into in the system and as far as I was aware, not logged into in the browser), so when I try to open the personal account settings it would open the work account in browser.

This is what I noticed AFTER I tried to move my Mojang account to said personal Microsoft account. In the process of doing so, it made a Xbox profile for both accounts, and then attached the Mojang account to the work email.

I understand that I cannot, under any circumstances, move the profile to a new account, OR change the Microsoft account associated with the profile. However, I cannot have a Xbox account attached to my work email, much less one with a game attached to it.

Would it be possible to move the entire Microsoft account to a new email via an alias (as my work email is a Gmail and thus will not be deleted if I remove it) and then open a new Microsoft account with the work email? I would prefer not to have to re-buy minecraft, but my main concern is to not have an Xbox profile attached to my work email where my superiors may get the wrong idea.

This Microsoft support page discusses how to change the email address for a Microsoft account, with a section that includes how to remove an email alias. Please read the warning in this section to make sure you're not permanently deleting your work email address before attempting to remove it.

So I am simply stuck with this account forever? By chance is there a way you may be able to find the email hooked up to this account so I can try to recover? I have tried on the emails I know but I think its hooked up to my mothers who recently passed away. Since then her account has been locked so that could be why I can't find it.

After hearing that Day One Xbox One users had been awarded with these gifts I checked my email today .. bear in mind I literally had my Xbox One and my Xbox Live account hooked up on the 22nd of November 2013.

Codes are sent by email apparently, but I have not revived one either ..
