Xbox account access/ recovery email access

I have an old xbox account that I am trying to access. I can't log into it using my email as I do t have the 25 character key. So I probably won't ever get into that email. I do however have a recovery email set up and xbox says you can log in with that email aswell.

However when I try to log in via this email it just takes me back to the screen with my main email. This is an old account and I have spent so much time and money on it I'd rather not lose it.

I am currently using a new xbox and email account and it just doesn't feel the same gaming on something that doesn't have my history attached to.

Using the chat bot so far has been unhelpful as it just goes in circles after I have said I can't log in, It tells me to first log in.. Probably gonna need a bunch of help on this problem.

Kindly use a different device or a different browser when opening your alternate email in getting the verification code and see if it works. Or you can also use incognito or in-private browser.

How do I check which Xbox Account emails use my Xbox Email as a security contact email if the account is locked?

Unfortunately unless you have access to a recovery account you will need to contact xbox support.

if you have a recovery email connected to that account you can reset ur email or password or both as long as you have access to that email

No. As I have exampled above, account recovery is not possible under any circumstance, because the email was changed. The above process requires access to your account. If you can't access your account, you can't change the email back.

I understand you need help in changing your email to your Microsoft account.

If I may ask, do you not have access to your Microsoft account anymore? Because if you still have access to it, you can always just make sure you have access to the security proofs because you cannot change the primary email anymore if you do not have access to that google email.

You would need to recovery access to this email for you to change it. But for as long as you have access to the security proofs attached on that Microsift account, there will be no issues using the old email as log in because the proofs will be your recovery options.
