    Xbox Accessories does not recognize wireless controller Elite Series 2


    I am encountering the following error when connecting an Xbox Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller to PC through USB cable. I am aware that this is a known issue and Xbox Accessories needs to be updated in order to recognize the latest firmware installed on the controller. Is there a link of FAQ/Known issue where we can check for updates as this issue has been going for a while now?

    Please note that I do not have an Xbox Console to plug the controller and rollback the firmware upgrade, as instructed. And can't be done through Xbox PC app due to, of course, it doesn't recognize the firmware, therefore the controller. Please also note that the controller has arrived with this latest firmware brand new, out of the box, and whoever will buy it for PC use will not be able to use it
