    XBOX Accessories App DOES NOT Work!


    Hi

    Just installed the app from Store and connected my Xbox One Controller.

    It's older than the new one with Bluetooth capability but also has 3.5mm jack, so not ancient model.

    When I connect it by Cable or MS Dongle (no difference) a message is shown "Update Required"

    I don't need to press the button, once I connect it automatically passed and I see a round progress bar.

    I was waiting even for one hour with no luck, nothing happens, just that circle progress!

    It's about 2 weeks I'm trying this, always the same, never gets updated.

    I found some users managed to damage their controller with this app.

    However, for me does not damage, and does not update either!

    Just a dotted circle progress bar and that's all...

    The Accessories App     does not support any Xbox 360 controllers. What features are you interested in using with the Xbox 360 controller? Please post back and I will start digging in to your issue. :)

    Hey tobidererste,

    Are you speaking of the Xbox Accessories app? Just search for "Xbox Accessories" in the Windows 10 Store and you can use that app to configure your Elite controller for your Windows 10 device.

    Have you checked your Xbox accessories app to see if anything changed in there and does this only happen with Slime Rancher or does it happen with other games also?

    If you run the "xbox accessories" app in Windows 10 and click on device information. Does it vibrate if you try the vibration test there?

    Yes. The issue seems to be the PC version of the Xbox Accessories app does not recognise my controller's most up-to-date firmware.
