That is because you have a past due balance on your account that needs to be paid using a different payment method since the subscription was not canceled, or auto renewal turned off before the actual renewal date.

You will need to either pay the balance and then cancel, or contact Xbox customer support for more assistance.

3. Select See other options
4. Select Payment & billing under Account management
5. Select show contact options and go to step 4
6. Select request a call from support if available or there should be a number for you to call

There is no cancelling option.

Both consoles require a subscription service to access multiplayer content. An Xbox Live Gold subscription used on Xbox 360 is also usable on Xbox One.
