Xbox One 4 life

Want to know what else bothers me, something no one is bringing up... Lets say I buy 100 games over the lifespan of the Xbone (games cost $100 in Australia), that's $10,000... So what happens when the next console comes out after the Xbone, what happens
when Microsoft stop supporting the online services of the Xbone? Just like the did with the original Xbox. Does that mean my 100 games and Xbone stop working? Does that mean $10,000 just went down the drain?

That's what I'm tripping on. When games on demand started on the 360 I was a little hesitant to buy digital. Microsoft seemed to have a history of making things, convincing you to spend money on things, then just dropping the whole thing. After awhile, I
gave in and thought maybe they won't do that with digital games purchased on xbox live. Now They say they won't even let you play the digital games you've purchased over the years on their coming Xbone console. Money down the drain like you say. And so my
thinking now is....so I buy xbone, buy some digital games on it and those games and the console could become useless in multiple situations?!? I was Xbox all the way but this is just ridiculous! I hate the PS controller with a passion but if sony gets their
next console right, PS4 is where im headed. If they follow Microsoft, either Im looking elsewhere or Im done with gaming. It'll be sad - I've been gaming for over 30 years.....but at least there'll be more money in my pocket.
