    To my understanding,

      unauthorized hardware or software that enables cheating or tampering."

    Is Microsoft allowing the use of 3rd party M&K adapters? My experience & many others in the online competitive scene are seeing more & more users using 3rd party adapters to gain an unfair competitive advantage ruining the console
    experience. And its not just M&K there are also controller add ons you can install anti recoil mods on.

    I'm wondering if its possible for you guys to make software or firmware updates to prevent the use of these 3rd party adapters.

    and even if these people get ban for the use they just make smurf accounts to dodge the repercussions. A lot of us want to know what you're going to do about these problems. If there are no repercussions to such actions more and more people will follow suit
    and continue to ruin the console experience. I'm not saying I'm fully against M&K on console. it can be really useful in rpg game. Diversity is a gray area it can be good and it can be bad, I think most of us can agree that its possible for an update that
    will detect the use of an adapter and match them against other adapter users. I know its easier said than done, I have much respect for the industry and believe you can make such a thing possible with your geniuses at work. I understand that you cannot monitor
    the entire service and that's what bots are for. Battle eye and vac bans on steam prove to be very efficient on pc, I just don't understand why you're company is letting users get away with such behavior. With all due respect I think we deserve an explanation
    on why nothing is really done to prevent these things.

    Mouse and keyboard are ok to use on Xbox. I prefer to use them with some games (RPGs). What is not okay is using an aimbot or any other program that gives them an advantage.
    Mouse and Keyboard are only ok to use if the game supports it.

    if a 3rd party adapter is used to make the game think that the mouse and keyboard are a controller then it is cheating and does give an unfair advantage.

    R6S doesn't support M&K so use of it in this game is cheating

    Yes it is but just for some few games and not all games. Fortnite for example is allowing you to play with m&k(mouse and keyboard) but you are getting queued against m&k users, so PC Gamers, PS4 Gamers with m&k and Xbox Gamers with m&k. You can use an
    adapter to play with mouse and keyboard on every game. And the console and game are thinking, you are playing with a controller. And even in Fortnite you are having the advantage to get queued against controller players.

    As far as I've been able to tell, chat does not work for most 3rd party headsets when using the adapter. The adapter that was, of course, supposed to enable chat for 3rd party headsets. Sigh.

    Thanks for the reply. In reference to a work around to the issue with the 3rd party headset is to use the Microsoft Wireless adapter for the Xbox One controller. This adapter helps convert the 3rd party 3.5m jack connection. Currently, our team is working
    on the solution.
