XBox 360

My Xbox 360 says I need an update and giving me a status code of 351F-3CD6-B800-0F00-C000-0059. What does that code mean? and how do I get an update? I would love to be able to play my 360!!

EA Titles RRP is £54.99

It looks like these prices are basically the same as the xbox 360

Looking at Blockbuster - they list most games with an RRP of £49.99. EA games have an RRP of £54.99

1.Try installing the update again.

Note You can also update your console software by copying the update to a USB flash drive or a disc and then applying it to the console. See Troubleshoot console software update problems.

 

The first number on the error code suggests that you have a VERY old system on your console.

I assume that this is the first time ever you connect the console online?

If you are sure, you bought the console from a trustable source, and you KNOW that the console is NOT modified or altered to play burned copies of games, you can

follow these instructions on this page here, to download the update on an USB stick and update the Xbox 360 console through an USB stick.

Since you are having problems with an update, I would try some of the solutions outlined on the page titled

Troubleshoot problems with an update to your Xbox 360 console (Solution 7 is a really good one that usually is pretty quick).
