    RDR on XBox One No Local Game Saving

    I just started playing RDR GOTY Edition on Xbox One and it only allows game saves to the cloud. Why can't I select my Xbox One hard drive for game saves? I understand the need for cloud storage in order to play the game on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One, but
    cloud storage shouldn't be the ONLY storage solution.

    Hi there

    If this is 360 cloud storage you have a 2GB save limit and you will have to delete some saves to free up space.

    If it's xbox one cloud storage then I'm not to sure to my knowledge there is no save limit on xbox one cloud storage but I could be wrong

    Cloud is an online storage that can be accessed using Xbox Live Gold for Xbox 360 consoles and Internet connection if Xbox One. Basically, if you have cloud, your game saves get stored to your console's local storage and the cloud. Let's say for example
    you performed a factory defaults for your Xbox One or format of hard drive for your Xbox 360, your save games from the local storages would get deleted but since you have cloud storage, your save games can be retrieved. This is why cloud can be considered
    as your back up.

    You don't access the Cloud storage on the Xbox One. It's managed automatically, and is not user accessible.

    Did you move your save file from the Xbox 360's local hard drive to Cloud Storage? If you want to have all your progress from the 360 version you have to move the save file to Cloud Storage so that the Xbox One version can sync with that data.

    Probably you can delete the current save data you have on you Xbox One, then, go to your 360 and move your original save data to Cloud Storage and finally start Gears of War 3 on your Xbox One again, you should see a message and a progress bar saying "Syncing
    Cloud Storage" or something like that.
